2026 New Skater Intake

Are you ready for this?
✅ I am 100% ready for this - where have you been all my life??
✅ I am super interested in Roller Derby but am a bit nervous!

If your answer is either of the above (or somewhere in between!) the time is NOW to sign up for 2026’s New Skater intake! We run 1 intake a year so do not miss your chance!

How does it work?

We split our intakes each year into 3 6-week Blocks…

During Blocks 1 and 2 you will focus on learning to skate and key footwork.
Block 3 will introduce the contact aspect of Roller Derby and playing the sport itself.

Skates and protective gear can be hired for a small additional fee per block - subject to availability - so just make sure you wear comfortable clothes that you can move freely in (t-shirts/leggings/shorts etc.) and bring water!

Prices, £35 no kit hire, £45 kit/ skate hire

Belfast vs Dublin Roller Derby’s “Be Grands”

Belfast’s first home game* of 2024 is almost here!

Are you and your friends able to come and cheer us on next Saturday, April 27th?

We’d just LOVE to see you (and hear you!) - here’re the details…

What: Belfast vs Dublin B
Date: Saturday, April 27th

Time: Doors open at 12:30, Game starts at 13:00
Tickets: £8 or €8 CASH on the door*
Where: The Valley Leisure Centre, Newtownabbey

This game is part of our 5 Nations Roller Derby Bracket - We’ve already played against two other teams in the group (Edinburgh’s Auld Reekie Roller Derby B team and Durham Roller Derby)
We need your support on Saturday against our local rivals; we’ve played Dublin in 2023 and didn’t fare as well as we’d hoped so with a home crowd we’re really hoping to get that boost we need!

*this game is actually hosted by Dublin Roller Derby - they’ve had to look island-wide for a venue for this game and, as it turns out, The Valley is perfect!
